When Meghan Markle stepped out in Stella McCartney for her wedding reception with her new husband, Prince Harry, on May 19, there was a collective gasp. It was perfection.
She was the epitome of the modern-day princess bride, and now you too can hope for that very same reaction on your wedding day.
The designer has now announced she is selling off replicas of the dress, but only 46 will be sold so get in quick.
The label will release a capsule collection called “Made With Love” which will contain 46 replicas of the now-iconic silk crepe gown, made with a sustainable viscose. They will sell 23 in white and 23 in black.
The dress will retail for approximately $6,240 (£3,500) which is bridal terms isn’t too exorbitant, but is only available by private appointment at the brand’s London and New York stores.
If you miss out on one of these exclusive however the designer also reportedly has plans to add the style to her extended bridal collection in 2019.
Speaking of designing the dress for the royal wedding, McCartney described it as an “honour” to be chosen.
“I am so proud and honoured to have been chosen by the Duchess of Sussex to make her evening gown and represent British design,” she told Women’s Wear Daily at the time.
“It has truly been one of the most humbling moments of my career and I am so proud of all the team on this stunning sunny royal day.”
