With Wimbledon having officially wrapped up for 2021, there is much to look back on and appreciate. From Ash Barty becoming only the second Indigenous woman to win Wimbledon to the endless celebrity sightings, there is plenty to fondly remember from the world-class tournament.
But given that last year’s event was cancelled due to the pandemic, all eyes were also on the court-side style.
And while the players must adhere to Wimbledon’s signature all-white fashion rule, those who attended the games as spectators had free rein over what they wore—as long as it goes well with strawberries and cream, of course.
Joining the celebrities in the stands was Kate Middleton, who is a tennis fan and a patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. And while she was one of many royal family members attending the event, the British institution is known for hosting some impeccably-dressed A-list celebrities from Emma Watson’s all-white Ralph Lauren suit in 2018 to Princesses Margaret’s futuristic sunglasses in 1968. No matter the circumstances, the fashion at Wimbledon is ace each and every year—and this time around was no exception.
