Meghan Markle became an official member of the Royal Family on May 19, 2018, when she wed Prince Harry in a fairytale ceremony at Windsor’s St. George’s Chapel. Since then, the Duchess of Sussex has not shied away from creating her own rules – even if it means ruffling a few feathers along the way.
From an alleged feud with sister-in-law Kate Middleton, moving out of Kensington Palace in favour of Windsor’s Frogmore Cottage with Prince Harry, to a viral video where Prince William seemingly ignores her, Meghan has seen her fair share of headlines since her introduction into the The Firm.

Apparently, a body language expert has finally revealed an explanation behind that viral video of Prince William seemingly giving Meghan the cold shoulder.
“This sense of distancing could be caused by tensions but it could also primarily be prompted by William’s aversion to royal ‘soap operas’,” body language expert Judi James told Express.
“After the tragic dramas of his parent’s marriage William has always appeared keen to avoid any public emotional displays that might draw too much ongoing attention from the press and it could easily be this, rather than Meghan herself, that he’s keen to avoid.”

“On the surface it looked as though she turned around to smile at William while he kept himself busy tucking his scarf into his coat and her face did appear to have dropped as she turned back,” Judi says.
“But she could have been smiling at Kate rather than William, meaning he might genuinely have been out of the conversational loop at that particular point.”

Judi’s comments come after British documentary Kate V Meghan: Princesses At War explored how Meghan had “changed” her husband.
Lady Colin Campbell claimed in the film that Harry was “beguiled” by his bride.
