It resembles something your three-year-old niece might own, but this brush is responsible (at least partly) for that signature “Chelsea Blow Dry”.
The Duchess’ longtime stylist, Richard Ward, uses the anti-static, antibacterial, Disney-princess-esque Tangle Angel when detangling Kate’s hair.
Ward’s other tips for a royal-worthy blowout:
When rough-drying wet hair, don’t shake the hairdryer as it can cause frizz; instead, on a low speed, lift and heat the roots and gently dry.
*Always use a nozzle to concentrate the heat and minimise frizz
*For the actual blow-dry, a round boar bristle brush helps seal the cuticle for the shiniest finish possible.
*Don’t underestimate the importance of rollers. Wrap just-blow-dried hair tightly around rollers and allow to cool.
*Finish with a mist of hairspray around the hairline to tamp down any flyaways.
