Weโ€™re not quite sure when, or even why, it happened, but at some point last year, dresses began in increasing in volume at break-neck speed until we wanted to look just like a literal walking cloud.

We saw puffy sleeves, ornate twill fabrics, and bountiful tiered dresses, all seemingly  pushing the limits of physics and giving Princess Diโ€™s iconic โ€™80s wedding gown a run for its money. 

But now that the trend has well and truly settled, we know weโ€™re not just looking at a passing fad. No, voluminous dresses have carved out a permanent place in our wardrobes
