Here Are The Victorian-Based Businesses To Support During The State’s Current Lockdown

Shop, support and share the local community

Times are uncertain right now, and while we don’t know what tomorrow holds we can be certain that supporting the local Australian businesses that might be doing it tough right now, will see us through. Whether you show your support by sharing a favourite local brand on social media or are continually shopping from your go-to local restaurant, every bit helps when bolstering the community on our very doorsteps.

Following Victoria’s stage four lockdowns, we made a call to marie claire’s Instagram followers to share their favourite Victorian business – from food to fashion. We collated the list so you can shop, support and share the local businesses who have once again, had to pivot amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fashion

Elso Jewellery – sustainable, ethical and handcrafted art and jewellery. The brand donates $5 from every purchase to support important projects.

ULO – made-to-order African wax collections which bring colour to your wardrobe and home. The brand also produces reusable face masks. 

Bon Voyage Collections – an Aussie accessories company stocking everything from gold chains to statement earrings. 

Stones & Silver – offering up on-trend and high-quality jewellery at an affordable price, best known for their stunning .925 sterling silver and gemstone pieces.

Scandi Heart – Scandinavian homewares, including a stunning selection of Gotland sheep rugs. 

Cottage Industry – a curated space featuring work designed and made in the teams Fitzroy studio, as well as products sourced from around the world.
