An unidentified woman’s body was found on the shore of North Cronulla beach this morning.

After a passer-by made the discovery at around 5am this morning, police were notified and set up a crime scene at the beach, smh.com.au reports.
The woman’s body was fully clothed, a passer-by told Macquarie National News.

Nine News reports a police helicopter is currently conducting a search of the area, and a post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine cause of death.
