Kensington Palace has announced that Princess Charlotte will attend Willcocks Nursery School in London from the beginning of next year, and already tongues are wagging about its exorbitant cost and exclusive cohort of just 32 students per session.
While Prince George attended Westacre Montessori for preschool, which was close to the royal family’s Anmer Hall home at the time, Willcocks Nursery is close to their current residence, Kensington Palace.
A “traditional nursery school which strives to maintain its ethos for high standards, excellence and good manners,” according to its website, Willcocks Nursery hosts two sessions a day for its pupils, which involve free playtime, art and music activities, and early learning.
The fourth-in-line to the throne will most likely attend the afternoon session, which is designed for younger children, and costs £1800 per term. The fees for the morning session are currently £3050 per term.
