Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot last night at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, in quite possibly the most star-studded ceremony in history.
Meghan walked the aisle in a stunning bridal gown by British designer, Clare Waight Keller, the artistic director at the historic French fashion house Givenchy, but it wasn’t her dress that got the internet talking.
Nor was it the long list of A-list royal wedding guests – we’re talking Victoria Beckham, Amal Clooney, Serena Williams and Oprah, to name a few.
The wedding has instead been making news for being one of the most touching in royal history, from the congregation laughing after Harry’s loud ‘I Do’ to the tiny bridesmaids and page boys tottering down the aisle behind Meghan Markle holding hands with each other.
The most heartwarming moment however was when Meghan and Harry met at the altar, with the groom whispering some comforting words to his bride to be.
“You look amazing,” he told her, before saying, “I’m so lucky” and beaming at his bride-to-be.
After the ceremony, the couple returned to Windsor Castle with their 600 guests for a luncheon reception held by the Queen, and then to the highly-anticipated after party, held at Frogmore House by Prince Charles.
Meghan changed into a second stunning wedding dress by Stella McCartney.
