This Newspaper Made A Bizarre Mistake On The Front Page

Can you pick it?

The folks at Washington Post Express are probably feeling *pretty* embarrassed right now.

They made a big mistake on the front cover of their newspaper that the public is finding it very hard to overlook.

Their cover story was about a womenโ€™s rights march that is set to take place in Washington DC the day after Donald Trumpโ€™s inauguration. 150,000 women are expected to attend the march, so itโ€™s a pretty big story.

The only problem? Washington Post Express mistakenly used the male symbol for the holding image.

They tweeted out the cover, captioned โ€œTodayโ€™s cover: The Womenโ€™s March in Washington started on Facebook. Now itโ€™s expected to be the largest rally linked to the inauguration.

Naturally, the Internet jumped to correct them, sharing their takes on it.

The newspaper responded with a statement about the mistake, writing โ€œWe made a big mistake on our cover illustration this morning and weโ€™re very embarrassed about it. We erroneously used a male symbol instead of a female symbol. This is how the cover should have looked. We apologize for the mistake.โ€

Weโ€™re still not quite sure how this happened. But itโ€™s probably a great example of why Washington needs a womenโ€™s march in the first place.
