“Jack!… Jack!” It broke our hearts when Jack (Leonardo Dicaprio) froze in the Atlantic Ocean while Rose (Kate Winselt) helplessly watched on. Titanic is widely hailed as one of film’s most tragic love tales.
Almost 20 years after the film’s release, Billy Zane who played bad guy Cal, still isn’t over how the story ended.
While on Today, the actor lamented that Rose should have ended up with his character: “I think he found redemption in the end, and I wish he had found her on [the rescue ship] Carpathia and was able to right his wrongs,” Zane said.
Maybe, Zane was so displeased that he didn’t stick around for the very last scene? Because if he had, he wouldn’t be able to deny the moment when Rose and Jack are reunited in ‘heaven’ to the tune of Celine Dion’s ‘My Heart Will Go On’.
