There’s Another Explosive New JonBenet Ramsay Documentary Coming

With the 20th anniversary of the death of 6-year-old beauty queen JonBenet Ramsay approaching, and the huge success of true crime series such as The Jinx and Making A Murder, it’s little wonder there’s an array of TV specials coming out around the infamous murder.

The newest, A&E’s The Killing of JonBenet: The Truth Uncovered documentary is one of the most explosive and emotional yet and they have just released the first trailer.

It was the story that captivated not only America but the world, and this new series focuses on what happened the night of December 26, 1996.

This documentary features an interview with JonBenet Ramsay’s father as well as the original investigators who worked on the case.

JonBenet was reported missing by her family before being found murdered in the basement of her family’s home.

Parents John and Patsy remained suspects in their daughter’s death until 2008, when police finally cleared their names. Sadly, Patsy had already been dead for two years after her battle with cancer.

Her older brother Burke, who was nine at the time, was also a suspect, was exonerated by DNA evidence in May of 1999.

In 2006, a 41-year-old schoolteacher named John Mark Karr confessed to killing JonBenet, but was never charged as his DNA wasn’t a match.
