We know a lot of fun facts about Her Majesty the Queen: what nail polish colour she uses, her daily diet, and what she thinks of The Crown. But this new tidbit is the best bit of royal trivia we’ve ever read: HRH owns a McDonald’s.

While we struggle to envisage the Queen getting stuck into a Big Mac (maybe she’s more of a McNuggets kind of woman?), Business Insider has reported that a McDonalds in Oxfordshire is in fact owned by Her Majesty.

The McDondalds can be found within the hallowed halls of Banbury Gateway Shopping Park, also home to a Marks & Spencer and Primark, and is owned by The Crown Estate.
