Hollywood’s A-list celebrities are arriving for the 2019 Oscars but Lady Gaga’s red carpet appearance is the one we’ve all been waiting for and she didn’t disappoint in a show-stopping black gown.

The first-time Best Actress nominee has never failed to pull out all the stops on the red carpet for this year’s awards show circuit from her Judy Garland-inspired periwinkle Valentino ballgown at the Golden Globes to her white Dior haute couture gown at the SAG Awards. It turns out Gaga saved the best for last with a gorgeous floor-length black gown from Alexander McQueen. Complete with gloves and a striking white updo, Gaga looks like a chic, modern day Audrey Hepburn.

And that’s exactly what she was going for. Her necklace, which features a stunning 128.54-carat Tiffany & Co diamond, was last worn by Audrey Hepburn in 1962 for the promotional posters for Breakfast At Tiffany’s. Worth an estimated $41 million, the necklace is certainly impressive!

While we wait to see if Gaga will be the first actress to win an Oscar for a performance in A Star Is Born (the 2018 film marks the third remake), her red carpet look is no doubt winning enough.

Gaga has a lot to look forward to tonight as her film A Star Is Born, in which she plays lead Ally, is nominated in a whopping eight categories including Best Picture, Best Lead Actor, Best Lead Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Sound Mixing and Best Original Song.

What will no doubt be the biggest highlight of this year’s ceremony, Gaga and her co-star Bradley Cooper will perform a duet of their Best Original song nominee ‘Shallow’ from A Star Is Born

We did get a sneak peek of what to expect from the performance when the duo made a surprise performance at Gaga’s Enigma residency show in Las Vegas. However, Cooper said to Variety that their Oscars performance may be unlike any other. He revealed, “I started texting her the whole pitch of how we should do it. So we’ll see. There might be a cool, unorthodox way we could perform it.”
