After being booted from The Bachelor mansion in a controversial decision by Matty (read our take on the situation here), Leah Costa has spoken out about her time on the show.
And in true Leah form, she did not hold back. In an interview with Kyle and Jackie O on KIIS FM, the reality TV contestant revealed she was “incredibly disappointed” by Matty.
“I don’t know if it’s even him, I think the situation’s unreal. How are you meant to find love in the situation? I think the girls that do are a bit desperate; it’s a bit sad,” she said.
“Honestly, I think I was in love with Matty before I went in, and then I was incredibly disappointed. Everybody’s cut and edited a certain way, and Australia’s cut and edited to fall in love with Matty.”
Leah was also quizzed on The Project and revealed she has since found after leaving the show. Asked if she was dating “somebody with a public profile” Leah coyly replied: “You’re gonna have to wait and see.”
She was also questioned about the sexist double standards on the show. Both Leah and Simone were grilled for their time as topless party entertainers, despite two previous male bachelors being topless waiters, too.
“I do think that’s with everything, a girl can say one thing and get degraded for it, and a guy’s a champion for doing the same thing, I think that’s society,” Leah explained.
