While the world reacted to the horrible terror attacks that took place in London on June 4, Australian power couple Ruby Rose and Jessica Origliasso took to social media to let fans know they were safe.
Rose, 29, tweeted: “I’m lost for words but please know I’m currently safe in London in lockdown right now,” Rose tweeted just after 1pm.
“Absolutely tragic and frightening night.”
Meanwhile, Origliasso, one half of Australian band The Veronicas shared a special message in honour of the emergency teams who were quick to act during the tragic attack.
“London, I’m so sorry. Immeasurable respect for emergency response services here,” Origliasso wrote.
Origliasso confirmed her twin sister and fellow band member Lisa was safe at home in Australia at the time of the attacks.

According to The Sydney Morning Herald, seven people have been killed and 48 have been injured following the terrorist attack in London. One of the victims who was injured has been identified as an Australian expat. Three terrorists also died in the attack.
