Iconic Sydney Restauranteur Jackie Milijash Dies

Iconic Sydney restaurateur Jackie Milijash of the infamous celebrity hotspot Jackieโ€™s Cafรฉ at The Intersection in Paddington, has died.

The Sydney cafรฉ, was a Sydney institution and a favourite of the likes of Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman and Naomi Watts.

No official cause of death has been released but a number of Milijashโ€™s close friends took to social media to mourn the loss of their beloved friend.

A number of Aussie stars have also taken to social media to mourn the tragic loss.

Milijash, who started her business back in 1989 with the original Jackieโ€™s Cafรฉ on the corner of Liverpool and Kent Street, was also a colourful character on the Sydney social scene, making headlines when she grabbed the microphone off Elton John at James and Jodhi Mearesโ€™ wedding in 1999.
