A second woman has been charged over the death of a Sydney beauty clinic owner after a botched breast implant procedure.
29-year-old Yueqiong Fu has been charged with manslaughter, using poison to endanger life and hindering a police investigation, following the death of Jean Huang at Chippendale’s Medi Beauty Clinic on August 30.
As The Sydney Morning Herald reports, Ms Fu was allegedly working as a nurse during the procedure, although she reportedly had no medical qualifications.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Ms Huang was allegedly administered a local anesthetic and breast fillers at the clinic. She was rushed to hospital but died on Friday.
Chinese tourist Jie Shao has also been charged with manslaughter over Ms Huang’s death. She allegedly does not have an Australian medical licence.
