Forbes has released its annual list of the highest-paid actresses on TV and once again, Sofia Vergara came in at number one for the fifth year in a row with a whopping $57 million.
The 44-year-old Modern Family star has her role on the hit show to thank for her success but in the past 12 months it was a number of endorsement deals that really propelled her fortune – up 66% from last year.
Among her lucrative endorsement deals are contracts with Head and Shoulders, a line of furniture and also a line of scrubs for nurses.
Coming in second place was The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco, who unlike Sofia, makes the majority of $32.7 million from the show.
Kaley and her co-stars all make $1 million per episode for the his CBS show, which makes her the actress with the biggest TV deal.

Mindy Kaling jumped five places this year to take out the third spot with $20 million thanks to her hit show, The Mindy Project.
“In all, the 15 highest-paid female stars of the small screen made a combined $A278.7 million between June 2015 and June 2016 — $A58 million more than last year’s combined total of $A220 million,” said Forbes.
