If you spend more hours in front of the television than actually sleeping, and binge-watch TV series in next to no time, chances are you’re looking for a new show.
Our recommendation? The honest and hilarious new comedy-drama SMILF, coming to Stan this month.
Don’t let the title distract you (yep, you guess what it stands for), SMILF promises to be a quality new comedy.
In the trailer, we meet single mother Bridgette Bird, played by Frankie Shaw, who also created, wrote and directed the show.
The Boston single mother is struggling to make ends meet, simultaneously working as a nanny, going on acting auditions and raising her two-year-old, Larry.
The series also stars Connie Britton, Rosie O’Donnel and Miguel Gomez.
In the trailer, Bridgette’s darkly funny misadventures include stalking stalking her ex’s new girlfriend, struggling to get laid and learning that paper towels are good enough to dry your toddler when you have no clean laundry.
Check out the trailer below.
You can watch a sneak peek of episode 1 on Stan right now. The rest of the series drops on November 13.
