Selena Gomez came under fire after fans started accusing her of lip synching during her performance of “Wolves” at the American Music Awards on Monday.
Twitter erupted with loads of hate from viewers with people labeling her a “fraud” for not singing live, calling it a “bad performance”.

Now, an insider has confirmed to TMZ that she was, indeed, singing to a backing track during the chorus like performers including Christina Aguilera, Nick Jonas and Hailee Steinfeld did on the night, but the singing was all her during the verses.
This is a common practice during live performances, particularly at award shows.
