Sarah Jessica Parker and husband, Matthew Broderick, hit the red carpet for the opening night of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on Broadway.
The date night difference? Their three children were in tow.
The premiere marks a rare family affair for the Divorce star, whose son James Wilkie, 14, and 7-year-old twins Tabitha Hodge and Marion Loretta are usually kept out of the limelight.
Posing on Willy Wonka’s purple carpet, the Parker-Bodricks looked worthy of a golden ticket, their chic outfits matching Sarah’s effortless style.
Tabitha and Marion coordinated with their mother, wearing smart coloured coats and darling prints, while James donned a tie for the occasion.

Ahead of the family’s arrival at NYC’s Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, Sarah announced excitedly to her Instagram following of 3.4 million, “Yipee! On our way to see “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and the whole family get to go and cheer for our dear @scottwittman and @marc_shaiman.”
Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman (who SJP mentioned) were responsible for the score and lyrics of the musical.
The 52-year-old, who is a long-time lover of Broadway, recently told Capitol File, “I get into bed after all the little kids are hopefully content and tucked away and perhaps even asleep, and I watch television. But I also go to theatre a lot.”
Letting her down-to-earth nature shine, Sarah revealed, “I take the subway there, which I love, because I can read the entire time.”
The family of five enjoyed the Roald Dahl classic from the orchestra section, with the Sex and the City actress later gushing on Instagram, “A lot of VERY happy people just left the Lunt-Fontanne theatre in NYC. Count the Parker-Brodericks among them.”
