Ryan Gosling has always been very private about his life with Eva Mendes – they kept Eva’s pregnancy with their first child private for seven months, then kept the birth of their second child quiet for a couple of months! But Ryan Gosling has taken a break from the secrecy to talk about his family…and he didn’t disappoint!
In a recent interview with GQ, he said that he always thought clichés about having a family of your own were false. But he said that he learnt that they were actually true – in the best way.
“Eva’s the dream mother, and they’re dream babies, and it’s like a dream that I’m having right now,” Gosling said. “I’m dreaming it all. When you meet your kids you realise that they deserve great parents. And then you have your marching orders and you have to try and become the person that they deserve.”

He said that it has affected his life outside of the home in a great way too.
“There’s a kind of chaos in it that I love. Maybe in my life I sort of put myself in situations that were chaotic, outside of my life. And now I have it at home, and I don’t have to go looking for it.
“It’s a beautiful chaos that’s…surreal and serene.”
