Get ready people, because another royal wedding is on the way! Earlier this evening, Kensington Palace confirmed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are engaged to be married.
“His Royal Highness and Ms. Markle became engaged in London earlier this month,” the statement reads.
“Prince Harry has informed Her Majesty The Queen and other close members of his family. Prince Harry has also sought and received the blessing of Ms. Markle’s parents,” it continues, before revealing the happy couple will live in Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace.
Minutes after the news was made public, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared their congratulations.
“We are very excited for Harry and Meghan,” Prince William and Kate Middleton said in a statement.
“It has been wonderful getting to know Meghan and to see how happy she and Harry are together.”
Congrats to Meghan and Harry!
