The graphic account of the alleged sexual assault is included in McGowanโ€™s upcoming memoir Brave and published in a review of the book in The New York Times.

In her memoir, McGowan says she was summoned to a morning meeting at a Park City restaurant with Weinstein, who she refers to as โ€œthe Monsterโ€. Before meeting the producer, McGowan was โ€œcertain we would be working together for many years to come, and we were here to plot out the grand arc of my careerโ€.

Weinstein was reportedly taking a phone call so she was directed to his suite. There, McGowan alleges he pushed her into a room with a hot tub and pulled off her clothes.

โ€œI freeze, like a statue,โ€ she recounts.

McGowan says Weinstein perched her on the edge of the jacuzzi while he performed oral sex on her while masturbating.

โ€œHe moans loudly; through my tears I see his semen floating on top of the bubbles,โ€ she writes.

McGowan sought advice from a criminal attorney but says she was told she would not be believed if she pressed charges.

โ€œIt seemed like every creep in Hollywood knew about my most vulnerable and violated moment,โ€ she writes. โ€œAnd I was the one who was punished for it.โ€

According to USA Today, 84 women have accused Weinstein of inappropriate to criminal behaviour.

Lawyers for the Hollywood producer have denied all claims.
