The graphic account of the alleged sexual assault is included in McGowan’s upcoming memoir Brave and published in a review of the book in The New York Times.

In her memoir, McGowan says she was summoned to a morning meeting at a Park City restaurant with Weinstein, who she refers to as “the Monster”. Before meeting the producer, McGowan was “certain we would be working together for many years to come, and we were here to plot out the grand arc of my career”.

Weinstein was reportedly taking a phone call so she was directed to his suite. There, McGowan alleges he pushed her into a room with a hot tub and pulled off her clothes.

“I freeze, like a statue,” she recounts.

McGowan says Weinstein perched her on the edge of the jacuzzi while he performed oral sex on her while masturbating.

“He moans loudly; through my tears I see his semen floating on top of the bubbles,” she writes.

The Brave author says she reported the traumatic event to her Phantoms co-star Ben Affleck, who reportedly replied: “Goddamn it. I told him to stop doing that”.

McGowan sought advice from a criminal attorney but says she was told she would not be believed if she pressed charges.

“It seemed like every creep in Hollywood knew about my most vulnerable and violated moment,” she writes. “And I was the one who was punished for it.”

According to USA Today, 84 women have accused Weinstein of inappropriate to criminal behaviour.

Lawyers for the Hollywood producer have denied all claims.
