In season three of The Crown, Helena Bonham Carter will have her turn to play Queen Elizabeth II’s younger sister, Princess Margaret.
Before Princess Margaret famously became the first royal to divorce in 400 years, she was known for her fashion. Her style even earned its own nickname in the 1950s as “The Margaret Look”. She was a fan of Dior’s New Look and opted to find inspiration in the trends rather than replicate her sister’s prim and proper royal sense of style.
