In case you’ve been living under a rock these past 48 hours, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting a baby – and Prince William is over the moon.
Speaking at a conference in Oxford, England, William addressed the news after Zoe Patrick, the chair of Oxfordshire Charity Council, congratulated him.
“Thank you, it’s very good news,” the father-of-two replied, as reported by People.
He continued saying the family is happy to “start celebrating this week” because “it was a bit anxious to start with,” likely referencing Kate’s struggle with Hyperemesis Gravidarum, a pregnancy illness often likened to severe morning sickness, which can cause extreme dehydration and hospitalistaion.
“There’s not much sleep at the moment,” Prince William said.
Uncle Prince Harry has also reacted publically to the news, telling Sky News: “[It’s fantastic, great! Very, very happy for them.]”
Harry also revealed that while he hasn’t seen his sister-in-law for a few days now (their last public appearance together was on August 30), he believes she is doing well.
