Prince William Says He Still Hasn’t Been Asked To Be Prince Harry’s Best Man

He says it’s “a sensitive subject”

With the royal wedding just a few months away (May 19, people), you’d think Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would have sorted out their bridal party. But if they have, big brother Prince William is yet to hear of it, telling British radio host Roman Kemp that he hasn’t been asked.

“He hasn’t asked me yet, just to clear that up,” the Duke of Cambridge said, adding, “It could be a sensitive subject.”

Ouch.

Although technically royal weddings are devoid of bridal parties, Prince William chose his younger brother to stand beside him for his 2011 nuptials to Kate Middleton. He’s expressed his excitement about the wedding previously, telling reporters he was “very excited and delighted for them both,” and adding that he hopes Prince Harry’s marriage “will stop him scrounging my food.”
