Before taking to the stage, William took the time to talk to several honorees, including five-year-old Suzie McCash who was honoured with the Child Of Courage award after saving her mother’s life by calling 999 (UK’s emergency number).

Suzie was just four year’s old when he mum collapsed and stopped breathing at their family home, she described the scary situation and had an ambulance sent to help her mum.

“Do you know what, I’m going to have a conversation with my George about what to do because of what you’ve done – it’s really important,” he continued, as reported by The Telegraph.

William also praised the emergency services who responded to both the Grenfell Tower and Machester Arena terror attack.

“I can’t say enough how proud I am of what you do on a daily basis,” he said.
