Amid rumours of feuds and fallouts, there was speculation that Princess Diana’s sons, Prince Harry and Prince William, might not be spending the day together as they usually do. It has been reported however, that this wasn’t the case, with the royals reported to have set aside their differences for the day.
‘They talk about the little things about Diana that made them laugh,’ a source told Us Weekly. ‘The ski trips and outings to Thorpe; the effort she went to on their birthdays – all of it.’
Prince Harry and Prince William were reportedly joined by their two families, with the Sussexes and the Cambridges getting together for the day to share stories and reminisce, with this being the first anniversary of her death since Prince Harry became a father himself.
Understandably, both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge chose not to post a tribute on social media, with the royal family appearing to grieve privately, but it is thought that there may be a delayed tribute this next coming week.
We’re sending our thoughts to Princes William and Harry.
