He’s currently on his honeymoon with bride Meghan Markle, but Prince Harry couldn’t wait to make his big announcement: he has revealed that the 2020 Invictus Games will be held in The Hague.
The newly married Duke of Sussex made the announcement whilst he is believed to be on his honeymoon with Meghan Markle.
“I am delighted to announce that The Hague is taking up the challenge of hosting the 5th Invictus Games. The city will soon become the motivation for hundreds of servicemen and women using the Games to inspire their recovery from physical and mental injuries,” the 33-year-old said.
“The Netherlands has supported the Invictus Games from the very beginning, and I know that everyone there will fully get behind and support the soldiers and veterans who have served their countries so bravely.”
Harry and his new wife Meghan will travel to Australia later this year for the 2018 Invictus Games, to be held in Sydney in October.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are also expected to tour New Zealand, Tomga and Fiji after visiting Australia.
