It was highly speculated in the lead-up to the royal wedding that Prince Harry would’t be inviting his ex-girlfriend, Chelsy Davy.
However it turns out he did invite his former flame (to the ceremony, but not the reception), but now a moment during the ceremony where she appeared to look rather sombre has gone viral.
Despite looking happy and jovial as she entered the church, viewers were quick to joke that her face during the ceremony screamed, “it could have been me!”

Harry’s not only invited Chelsy to the wedding but also invited his most recent ex, Cressida Bonas, with sources saying they all run in the same circles.
Davy reportedly “congratulated Harry the minute the engagement news was announced” and “Meghan would have no problem with her being there” a source previously told US Weekly.
Harry and Chelsy met in early 2004 while she was a boarder at Stowe School, and they were an on-again-off again couple until 2010. In a previous interview with the Times, Chelsea said of the media’s focus on their relationship: “It was so full-on: crazy and scary and uncomfortable. I found it very difficult when it was bad. I couldn’t cope.”

She says the pair will always “be good friends,” which seems accurate considering she was invited to William and Kate’s wedding in 2011.
