Australian influencer and former magazine journalist Phoebe Burgess has seemingly confirmed she back together with estranged husband Sam Burgess following weeks of speculation on the status of their marriage.

Celebrating her thirties, Phoebe shared a sweet photo of herself with Sam – the couple looks to be as loved-up as ever. “30 and maturing nicely…,” the mother-of-three captioned the birthday snap. Notably, she’s slipped her engagement ring back on, an accessory which she hasn’t been seen wearing for a couple of months amid previous rumours she had split from Sam.

Just weeks after welcoming their second child, The Daily Telegraph reported the couple was separating. NRL player Sam Burgess – who plays for the South Sydney Rabbitohs – was pictured moving his belongs out of their Maroubra Home in February. A close friend told the outlet “things [had] been bad for a while.”

On December 9, Phoebe announced the birth of their son William ‘Billy’ Burgess. She wrote: “Welcome to our world little big man, our hearts are so fun. #FamilyofFour.” They also share a two-year-old daughter Poppy Burgess.

In September Sam was accused and later cleared of any wrongdoing after a 23-year-old woman claimed two unnamed Souths players had sent her lewd images of themselves via social media.

Sam, 30, told reporters at a press conference“I’m upset for my wife and my family, it’s been a tough process to go through,” Burgess said. “I’m fortunate that I’ve got a strong wife … I’ve got a wife who loves me, I’ve got a great family, great friends and support around me to get through these allegations that have been made.”

The footballer met the Sydney socialite at an Avicii concert five years ago, Sam reportedly proposed while they were on holidays in the Greek islands and they married at Phoebe’s parents’ home in the New South Wales southern highlands in December 2015. The high-profile wedding was attended by a slew of Australian celebrities including Russell Crowe.
