The allegations were from Radradraโ€™s ex-partner, Perina Ting, and she claimed that she was the victim of three attacks, including one when she was nine months pregnant.

When asked for comment on the allegations, The Daily Telegraph reports that Ting said โ€œI am coping. It has been very stressful โ€ฆ my mother flew into the country yesterday.โ€™โ€™

She also said: โ€œNo one is above the laws of this countryโ€.

At this stage, Radradra will still go to training and play in the clubโ€™s next game tomorrow night. The Parramatta Eels released a statement earlier today surrounding the decision for him to continue playing.

โ€œThis is a serious matter and the club is treating it as such,โ€ Parramatta Eels director Geoff Gerard said.

โ€œIn accordance with our clubโ€™s values, Semi will be afforded the presumption of innocence, and we will continue to provide him and his family with all the support and welfare services we have available.โ€

โ€œThe club will work closely with the relevant authorities and be open with the NRL Integrity Unit throughout this process.โ€

Radradra is set to appear in Parramatta Local Court on Tuesday 5 July 2016.
