Millie Bobby Brown’s Emotional MTV Movie & TV Awards Speech Will Make You Cry

13-year-old Millie Bobby Brown burst onto the scene last year as the incredible character, Eleven, on Netflix’s Stranger Things

The teen, who is already cooler than we’ll ever be, was just awarded Best Actor at the MTV Movie & TV Awards, beating Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke and Atlanta’‘s Donald Glover.

Millie couldn’t hold back her tears while delivering her acceptance speech. She began by saying, “I want to thank my family… you give me light every day and I love you,” before continuing to thank her team, and the Duffer Brothers for creating Eleven’s character.

“I want to thank Sean Levy for being one of the best directors I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Sean, everything you’ve taught me I will carry on for the rest of my career.”

“Lastly, I want to thank the Duffer Brothers because they’ve created a badass, female, iconic character that I’ve got the honour to play.”

The teen got a standing ovation upon finishing her emotional speech.
