Mila Kunis has written a fiery open letter to a Hollywood Producer who told her, “You’ll never work in this town again” when she refused to pose half-naked for a magazine to promote a film.
The letter was published on A Plus, a media website that was co-founded by her husband, Ashton Kutcher.
She starts off the letter by addressing the fact that this producer “spoke aloud the exact fear every woman feels when confronted with gender bias in the workplace.”

Echoing this fear that saying ‘no’ will hurt a woman’s career that occurs in many areas, such as Australian medical schools, Mila Kunis condemns the producer’s support of women sacrificing their integrity for money.
She told the story of being referred to as ‘soon to be Ashton’s wife and baby momma’ when a male producer was pitching one of her shows to a major network. After feeling belittled and like her value was diminished, she withdrew her involvement in the project. She argues that it’s time to stop putting up with even the small stuff if women are going to achieve true equality.
“I’m done compromising; even more so, I’m done with being compromised. So from this point forward, when I am confronted with one of these comments, subtle or overt, I will address them head on; I will stop in the moment and do my best to educate. I cannot guarantee that my objections will be taken to heart, but at least now I am part of creating an environment where there is the opportunity for growth. And if my comments fall on deaf ears, I will choose to walk away.”

She also sees that if this is happening to her – an influential woman at the top of her industry – then it is surely happening to other women. So she finished the letter with this powerful statement.
