Hollywood icon Meryl Streep is the Oscars’ most nominated actor of all time – she’s accumulated 21 noms and won three times – but barely anyone’s spared a thought for her arm candy over the past 40 years, her husband Don Gummer. That is, except for their children.
Streep and Gummer have four children: Henry Wolfe, Mamie, Grace and Louisa Gummer, Bustle reports. After yesterday’s Academy Awards, Louisa tweeted the following: “Fun fact: we once made my dad a fake Oscar for acting comfortable at these things for 40 years straight.”
Sadly, the tweet has since been taken down. But the photos of Streep and Gummer arm in arm at decades’ worth of Academy Awards live on:
