Just two weeks after his ex-wife, Meghan Markle married Prince Harry in one of the most-watched weddings of all time, Trevor Engelson popped the question himself.
The 41-year-old film producer and talent agent, who was previously married to The Duchess of Sussex for two years, proposed to girlfriend Tracey Kurland in California’s Napa Valley last week, reports The Mail on Sunday.
The couple are yet to officially comment on the news, however he reportedly shared it on his private Instagram account.
“Luckiest guy I know!” Engelson captioned the post. “Get ready to party.”
Meghan and Trevor dated for six years before tying the knot on September 10, 2011 with a four day wedding extravaganza in Jamaica.
However just two years later the couple divorced in 2013 citing “irreconcilable differences”, with reports saying Meghan’s role on the hit show Suits, which was filmed in Toronto, Canada, was to blame.
“Meghan landed her role in Suits just a few months before they married,” a source told Woman’s Day. “And despite being together for six years before getting hitched, things started to fall apart not long after the wedding.”
“They really battled with long distances,” added the source. “Trevor was based in LA while Meghan was in Toronto, a five-hour flight away. It was a very difficult way to start married life.”
