The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle will not take part in engagements during the Royals’ visit to Fraser Island on Monday, Kensington Palace has confirmed.
The 37-year-old, who is currently four months pregnant with the royal couple’s first child, also stepped back from official duties on Sunday morning before joining Prince Harry for an official reception and to watch sailing at the event on Sydney Harbour.

Prince Harry, 34, also shared big news of his own – revealing during a cycling event at the Invictus Games in Sydney on Sunday that he wants his first child to be a girl.
A video of the sweet moment posted by the Instagram fan account, Harry_Meghn_Up, shows a fan calling out to Harry, 34, that she hopes the baby “is a girl,” and Harry immediately responds, “So do I!” as he continues to walk along the bike path.
