Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s upcoming nuptials are without a doubt the most talked about of the year. The May 19th royal wedding will be televised all over the world, and, if Prince William and Kate Middleton’s 2011 wedding is anything to go by, will be watched by millions.

Meghan Markle’s dad, who is walking his daughter down the aisle, is clearly feeling the pressure. Thomas Markle Sr. was spotted yesterday reading up on British history, before flying to the UK to meet the royal family. 

The 73-year-old was spotted in Rosarito, Mexico, where he lives, reading Images of Great Britian: A Pictorial Tour Through History. Brushing up on a few facts about his daughter’s new country of residence. 

Despite rumours surrounding Markle’s family’s input in the royal wedding, The Sun reports Thomas will definitely be at the ceremony to walk Markle down the aisle.

“Thomas [Senior] is overjoyed to be beside his little girl on the day she becomes a princess – even if he has to battle his demons to get there,” a source said. “He’s not exactly thrilled at facing the world’s glare. He lives a reclusive life in Mexico. But nothing will stop him from having Meghan on his arm for the big day.”
