Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reunited with Kate Middleton and Prince William for the first time since publicly acknowledging the brother’s feud over the weekend to join the rest of the royal family in honouring those lost in war. While there looked to be a bit of tension on both sides – a body language expert said Harry and Meghan appeared isolated from the others and that Harry seemed tense – the Duke and Duchess of Sussex seemed just as loved up as ever towards each other.

Another body language expert, Blanca Cobb, noted that the couple seemed very in sync at the event, saying, “Their stance is very similar from their heads all the way to their feet, and they’re almost a mirror image of each other,” showing that they are “emotionally in sync and on the same wavelength, which is a testament to their relationship—you want to be like someone you like.”

While for the most part, Harry and Meghan remained somber at the important event, they were spotted sharing affectionate looks when seated and away from photographers:

Cosmopolitan US‘ body language expert also noted that Kate and William “seemed much more relaxed and happier than Meghan and Harry. Kate has a much bigger smile than Meghan, and you tend to emote more when you’re happy and relaxed.” While we can’t say why this is, Vanity Fair recently reported that Kate is currently in the Queen’s good books thanks to her ‘keep calm and carry on’ approach in life.

Plus, it pays to note, the Duchess of Cambridge was seated front row with HRH at this event and then again on the same balcony the next day.
