We all know Prince Harry And Meghan Markle are making their way to Australia this October for the Invictus Games, but it turns out they might also be planning a little R&R up north while they’re here.
While the Invictus Games are to be held in Sydney, the couple have reportedly been offered the luxurious holiday home of Meghan’s former Suits co-star Gabriel Macht and his Aussie wife Jacinda Barrett to stay while they’re here.
According to The Mirror, the couple will have a few days off between the Invictus Games and heading to New Zealand for an official royal tour.
“Harry and Meghan have a window free and Gabriel and his wife have invited them to their beautiful Queenslander-style house,” revealed a source.
“It’s an incredible place and will be perfect for them to chill out before they go on what is likely to be a fairly non-stop tour.
“They’ll have a great time and they’ll have a chance to see the real Australia after the bustle of Sydney.”
Macht and his wife, who attended the royal wedding in Windsor on May 19, have also extended the invite to co-star Sarah Rafferty a.k.a Donna – Umm can we come too?
According to another report, Meghan and Harry might be planning to do a little house hunting while they’re in town, with the royal couple planning to focus on building relations with Australia and New Zealand.
“Buying property would show Aussies they’re serious about keeping the relationship strong,” a source told Woman’s Day.
“Harry wants somewhere out in the bush that’s extremely private, within an hour or so of a major airport,” added the source. “He has a fantasy of finding a little vineyard, because Meghan’s talked at length about wanting to learn the process of winemaking.”
