Adding further fuel to the engagement news fire, Meghan Markle has enjoyed a private audience with Her Majesty the Queen, according to reports.
The 36-year-old actress, who is said to have just quit her role on Suits in preparation to become a royal wifey, had afternoon tea with Prince Harry and the Queen in her private sitting room at Buckingham Palace, according to reports by the Daily Mail.
The informal meeting lasted about an hour, with Markle and Prince Harry arriving in a car with blacked-out windows.
It’s thought that this isn’t the first time Markle has met the Queen: according to reports, they first met over the English summer at Balmoral.
The high-profile pair are expected to announce their engagement next month.
