Rumours of a rift between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and Prince William and Kate Middleton keep circulating with just one day before the foursome are due to spend Christmas Day together.
It has been revealed today that despite staying together last year at Sandringham, this Christmas the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are sleeping elsewhere: down the road at Anmer Hall with their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
While the choice to not stay under the same roof as Harry and Meghan could be to do with the reported feud, according to The Daily Mail it’s actually just to do with space. The Queen’s home is currently at capacity: the rooms are “cramped” and guests are “packed in like sardines” says a royal source.
Of the drama, palace insider told PEOPLE, Wives do change the dynamic, and they both have very strong wives.”
“If you bring two independent-minded women from the real world into the royal world, they are going to want to have an impact.”
