Married At First Sight Australia’s Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli are one of the reality tv show’s most enduring pairings – during a season where we saw drama from the likes of Ines, Jessika, Elizabeth, and Cyrell – Martha and Michael’s love story has been smooth sailing by comparison.
And now, it appears the couple is getting reading to start a family of their own with P.E. teacher Michael sharing a series of videos to Instagram Story of his ‘wife’ picking out baby clothes.
Brunelli captioned the home video of Martha and her “yiayia” which means grandmother in Greek, looking over a selection of infant sized onesies and sock booties. When Michael asks Martha’s yiayia, “are Martha and I having a baby?”
She humorously replies, “Yes.”

The family-orientated make-up artist previously opened up to TV Week about her baby plans. “I can definitely imagine my future with Michael,” she said in March. “I do want to have children one day – I don’t think I’m ready now, though,” she says. “[But] I could imagine having a family with him. Yes, definitely.”
Since the experiment’s final episode, where the couple both decided to write “stay” at the vow ceremony, Martha and Michael’s relationship has survived near-constant scrutiny from the public.
During an appearance on channel nine’s Talking Married Martha opened up about the first time she said “I love you” to her husband. “I texted you,” the MAFS star reminded her husband. “I said it in a text. We were in bed.”
The 30-year-old also shared, “I thought he was 10 years younger than me!”
“But honestly, he just had this really kind energy. I was actually really scared to ask Michael how old he was. [He had] these really kind eyes. And he was smiling. He was lovely.”
