In his glowing admiration of Robbie, Scorsese described the *hilarious* reason Robbie beat out the likes of Blake Lively, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Amber Heard in auditions for the role of the sultry Naomi Lapaglia.

“She clinched her part in The Wolf Of Wall Street during our first meeting – by hauling off and giving Leonardo DiCaprio a thunderclap of a slap on the face, an improvisation that stunned us all.”

The Aussie A-lister obviously left quite an impression on the producers, as she was quickly cast and went on to receive widespread critical acclaim for her performance in the 2013 blockbuster, which details the rise and fall of corrupt stockbroker, Jordan Belfort (played by Leonardo Dicaprio).
