Margot Robbie Could Play Lead In New Tarantino Film

About the death of actress Sharon Tate

Australian actress Margot Robbie is said to be in talks with Quentin Tarantino over a fascinating new film. As yet untitled, the movie will explore the horrific death of actress Sharon Tate (with whom Margot Robbie shares a striking resemblance), who was murdered by the Manson family cult in 1969.

Deadline reports that Tarantino has met with Robbie about the role of Sharon Tate, while Hollywood Reporter said Jennifer Lawrence was previously in the running. 

Brad Pitt and Samuel L. Jackson are the two male stars being linked to the movie, which is due to begin filming next year.

Sharon Tate, who was married to disgraced director Roman Polanski, was eight months pregnant when she was brutally killed by members of the Manson cult, along with four other people inside her LA home.

Cult leader Charles Manson, who was serving a life sentence in US prison, died on November 19 at age 83 of natural causes.
