As soon as Suicide Squad came out 2016, we knew we wanted to see more. More of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, that is. Now, the people have gotten their wish — and it’s almost time to see the finished product.

Margot Robbie has taken to Instagram to give us a first look at the revamped Harley Quinn spinoff, posting a selfie of herself back in costume. Captioning the post ‘Miss me?” followed by a lipstick emoji, Robbie looked all the part the cartoon villain.

Complete with vampy red lips and dark eye make-up, Robbie has updated the character’s hair by adding a choppy fringe and going shorter with her signature pigtails. Also notably missing is the white powder worn by Robbie throughout Suicide Squad.

The selfie was timed to release with our first official teaser from the film, which was posted on Youtube simultaneously. It was the first post from an account called CheekySneakyPeeky and runs for just 19 seconds but gives us a pretty good idea of what we can expect from the spinoff, titled Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn).

Showing Ella Jay Basco as Batgirl, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Ewan McGregor as Black Mask, Chris Messina as Victor Zsasz and Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, the film will follow the story of the Birds of Prey, a famous cartoon of all-women superheroes which will be the premise for the spinoff.

There’s no exact release date for the film just yet, but fans are going to have to wait a little longer if the expected 2020 debut is anything to go by. For now, we’ll just hope Margot keeps up the in-costume selfies.
