A NSW man has been charged with murder after his son discovered his mother’s body on the floor of their family home.
Police were called to the scene where they found the body of the 56-year-old mother.
The 57-year-old father was arrested a shirt distance away, sitting in his car outside some shops at Kings Langley, reports The Daily Telegraph.
“Police spoke with a family member, and as a result, a search began for a 57-year-old male, who police will allege is the husband of a deceased lady,” Detective Acting Superintendent Wayne Humphrey said.
“He was arrested without incident at that location.”
Neighbours say the police had been called to the property on previous occasions and that the man had been spotted the previous night “walking up and down” outside the house.
