The disappearance of 3-year-old Madeleine McCann has left her parents, police and the public desperate for answers for more than ten years.
Madeline vanished from a holiday apartment in Portugal’s Praia da Luz while her parents were having dinner at a nearby restaurant on May 3, 2007.
Now, Netflix is set to reexamine the toddler’s tragic disappearance in a new true crime documentary, The Mirror reports.
Netflix will reportedly release an eight-part series that will feature interviews with key investigators from Madeleine’s missing person case.
But according to the Mail Online, Madeleine’s parent’s, Kate and Gerry McCann, have declined to take part in the new show. The publication cites the fact that the Metropolitan Police’s Operation Grange is still underway as a likely reason why.
The documentary comes off the back of Netflix’s success with other hit true crime documentaries such as and Making A Murderer and Amanda Knox.
